Accounts Assistant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Eye Mantra in Delhi. This role involves stock management, accounting entries, and supporting empanelment processes for Third Party Administrators (TPA) and insurance companies. Experience in e-plan settlements and handling TPA empanelment is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management:
- Maintain accurate records of stock, ensuring timely updates of inventory in the system.
- Monitor and track stock levels, identifying discrepancies and reporting them.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth stock management and procurement.
- Accounting Entries:
- Record and maintain all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, and stock-related entries in the accounting system.
- Reconcile entries, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Empanelment and TPA Settlement:
- Handle the empanelment process for various insurance companies and TPAs, ensuring all required documentation and requirements are met.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and TPAs for approvals and settlements, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and updating of empanelment records with insurance providers and third parties.
- Maintain detailed records of empanelment status, claims, and payments to ensure compliance with TPA and insurance guidelines.
- E-Plan Settlement:
- Process and manage e-plan settlements efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and other stakeholders to resolve e-plan-related issues.
- Ensure accurate entry and documentation for e-plans in the system.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of reports for management review.
- Handle inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to accounts, stock, empanelment, and TPA settlements.
- Ensure all financial operations are compliant with internal and external auditing standards.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Additional certifications or training in accounting (e.g., CA Inter, Tally, etc.) will be a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounting, stock management, and TPA settlements.
- Experience in empanelment with insurance companies and e-plan settlements is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.) and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
- Experience with TPA documentation, claims settlement, and empanelment processes.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of healthcare accounting, TPA processes, and insurance claims.
- Experience in managing stock for healthcare or medical institutions.
- Familiarity with empanelment processes and documentation for insurance companies.
