Cornea & Refractive Fellowship
Job Summary:
Candidates will be trained in the diagnosis and management of corneal & refractive diseases of the eye, the use of various investigative procedures, medical treatment, surgical intervention, and research.
The clinical training involves fellows working in rotation through different subspecialties in the outpatient department. They will also be encouraged to evaluate patients’ problems in detail, using logical and clinical data to arrive at an accurate diagnosis
Program Details:
- Extensive training in examination and working up patients.
- Access to all diagnostic procedures such as Topography, OCT, Keratograph, Advanced Dry Eye diagnostics, Aberrometry etc
- Regular postings in OPDs and managing independent OPD
- Active surgical supervision to learn the right technique
Fellows will gain experience in clinical and surgical management of a wide spectrum of cases
- Keratoconus diagnosis & management-topography guided surface ablation(Athens protocol).
- Corneal disorders
- Corneal transplant- full thickness, lamellar
- Ocular surface disorders
