Role Overview:

As an OT Technician at our Delhi NCR facility, you will be the backbone of our surgical operations. You will be responsible for maintaining absolute operation theater readiness, assisting expert surgeons during advanced ophthalmic procedures (including Cataract, LASIK, Retina and Cornea surgeries) and strictly enforcing infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• OT Setup & Equipment Readiness: Expertly prepare the operation theater for daily schedules. Calibrate and manage highly sensitive ophthalmic surgical equipment, including Phaco machines, Femto/LASIK lasers and surgical microscopes.
• Active Surgical Assistance: Work directly alongside surgeons and surgical nurses. Hand off instruments accurately, maintain a pristine sterile field and proactively manage all intraoperative supplies.
• Sterilization & Infection Control: Take full ownership of hygiene protocols. Oversee autoclaving, chemical sterilization processes and daily OT fumigation while strictly enforcing NABH hygiene standards.
• Comprehensive Patient Care: Assist with patient preparation, secure positioning, local anesthesia setups and ensure safe, comfortable transport to the post-op recovery rooms.
• Inventory & Maintenance Management: Keep a close eye on surgical consumables, track biomedical waste management compliance and report any hardware maintenance requirements immediately to prevent downtime.
  

Who We Are Looking For:

• A certified professional holding a Diploma or B.Sc. in OT Technology.
• Someone with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience, preferably within an ophthalmic surgical environment.
• A detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of strict sterilization and NABH protocols.
• A reliable team player who stays calm and efficient in a fast-paced surgical setting.
