Mother Dairy Network Approved / Empaneled Eye Hospital

Mother Dairy was started in 1974 as a project of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the NDDB. The company sells milk and milk products under the brand name “Mother Dairy”. It also manufactures and markets other dairy products such as butter, ghee, cheese, curd, ice cream, etc. The company has a wide network of collection centres and processing plants across India.



The company follows a three-tier structure for procurement, processing and distribution of milk and milk products. The primary level consists of village dairy co-operative societies which collect milk from the farmers. The milk is then transported to thecollection centres where it is tested for quality and fat content. The milk is then transported to the processing plants where it is processed and packaged. The products are then distributed to the retail outlets through a network of distributors.
